Comprehensive Report
Your Home Front inspection includes a report on the condition of the home with photographs taken during your inspection, links to reference material, detailed illustrations and the complete text of the Home Reference Book. Your report is customized for the home inspected. It is delivered to you electronically and you have permanent access to your report and all reference material. You have the option of downloading your report and storing it on your computer or printing the report. The Home Reference Book and report is the most comprehensive in the industry with easy to understand reference material and detailed illustrations on home construction and home maintenance. Each of the nine systems – Roofing, Exterior, Structure, Electrical, Heating, Cooling, Insulation, Plumbing, and Interior – are detailed in your electronic report. In addition, your report includes a very useful home maintenance checklist to assist you in keeping your home in top condition. Professional Home Inspector
Home Front is celebrating 16 years in the home inspection profession in 2020. Your home inspection is conducted by Brad Durant, P.Eng, RHI. A true professional in his field, Brad is a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontari0, a Registered Home Inspector (RHI) member of the Canadian Association of Home and Property Inspectors (CAHPI), a member of Passive House Canada, and a past member of the Ontario Association of Home Inspectors (OAHI). These professional associations have stringent education requirements for membership, yearly education requirements to sustain membership, a strict code of ethics and standards of practice second to none. As an OAHI association member, Brad chaired the OAHI education committee from 2005 to 2012, elected to the Board of Directors in 2011 and received an award for his voluntary contribution and service to OAHI in 2008.
Brad continues his commitment to professional development following his interest in energy-efficient houses to achieve further certifications as a Register Energy Auditor (REA) and a Certified Passive House Designer (Consultant) (CPHD) with the Passivhaus Institute.
